I woke up early to meet the sky and
chirping birds. I went to our dining room to look for any food that
my father prepared for our breakfast. Everything seems so simple and
there are no more interesting ideas that are circulating at that
time.
Later on I saw an old book of mine,
actually it is not mine, it is owned by my brother but he really
never put any effort to read it so I picked it and eventually
realized that it has a very good notion about what I need to realize
in every single steps in my life. The book was entitled “The
Greatest Secret” and with a subtitle “God’s Law of Attraction
for Lasting Happiness, Fulfillment, Health, and Abundance in Life.
The truth is I did not completely
finish reading the book since at that time I need to manage my time
in school and at the same time as a regular employee. What I
remembered about that book is that it holds some information that is
relevant to the idea of the quantum physics, “Law of Attraction”.
It is a constrained idea that was applied to inform about how we
behave, have faith to attract Blessings and reminding us to walk
closely to God.
I am a person who really plans
everything about my path in life and try to put all my effort to
fulfill it. I adopted this idea in some of inspirational,
motivational, autobiographies and management books like 100 ways to
motivate yourself by Steve Chandler, The Greatest Miracle by OG
Mandino, Think and Grow rich by Steve Chandler and more. Many of my
principles came from their ideas that shaped my world view. Using
their life maps, I have managed to build my own map of life that I
always use in my every step.
At that time I thought everything
in my life was well planned that I can see my future is as clear like
the falling rain drops. Everything seems perfect unless the momentum
was disturbed inside my heart, all is well.
But one day, a close friend of mine
asks me, “Are you happy?” … A question that really cut my flesh
into pieces that every time I go to sleep, hold a book or close my
eyes it always comes back like an irritating fly and ask a an
infinite looping question that is unbreakable unless I answered it.
I always ask it to myself and I
still don’t know the answer. Different sub ideas rooted from that
question and until now, I’m lost. I still don’t know what I
want.
Does continuously being serious in life cuts the chain between you
and happiness?
Do I have a real friend?
Does my aim in life must focus in qualitative or in quantitative?
What I only holds now is my faith, my faith that always makes
complete, My faith in God and his Gospel
^_^
