Owwww Dolphins!
Have you ever seen a Dolphin walk on the sea? A Sea Lion that is smarter than you when you are drunk. . . Hmmm I guest not. If not then you may spend a little time with this stupid blog that tells some wonderful stories.
Ocean Adventure is located in SBMA. There is a free shuttle from the Park n Shop if you are located near Olongapo. Your travel expense will really be lessen if you ride their free shuttle. Their shuttle is available on 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
This is one of the four dolphines that performed when we went in Ocean Adventure. Actually you can't take a picture of it as close as this unless you pay for the photo or swim with it. In my case, I used a canon dslr with a lens of 300mm that's why I managed to take a close up photo of it even I am at the top of the bench.
Upon entering in their place, you will arrive in their "Ocean Treasures" where you can buy beautiful souvenirs such as shirts, stuf toys, hats key chains and more.
This beautiful lady with me bought some cool stuff. Their shirts really has a great quality and the printouts and designs are beautiful. The prices ranges from P300 to P600.
Wild World Show
The first show we attended was the Wild World Show. It is a great experience specially for kids. Some animals including a Bear Cat is one of the highlights of the show, where it will walk on a vine which is hanging over the audience.
Have you seen a trained Owl? Well, you can see it in Ocean Adventure. When the trainer want it to fly or walk upside down at the bottom of a branch it will follow in just some movement symbols by his trainer.
While the host is showing the Animals they are also teaching people to save the forest, animals and living organism that contribute to its ecosystem. It is very educational for everyone and a great realization not just only for children but even for older people.
Bugsville
During some free time after shows, we went to some available places such as the Bugsville. You can see some Tarantula Spiders and Iguana's
So How to get there
FROM NORTH LUZON EXPRESSWAY (NLEX) IN MANILA
- From central Manila, head north on EDSA and look for signs to enter NLEX
- Continue on NLEX Approx 76 km to Angeles City and look for signs for Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)
- Take the exit for SCTEX toward Subic Bay
- Continue on SCTEX Approx 57 km and stay straight as you exit the expressway onto Maritan Hwy
- Maritan Hwy merges into Argonaut Hwy after approx 2.5 km
- Continue on Argonaut Hwy approx 3.6 km until it ends at stop sign
- Turn left onto Corregidor Hwy
Signs for Ocean Adventure along Corregidor Highway will guide you at key intersections.
- Continue on Corregidor Hwy approx 7 km to the 3-way fork
- Look for the Ocean Adventure directional sign and take the fork to the right
- Go to the end of the road approx 5 km and proceed through our gate
FROM END OF SUBIC EXPRESSWAY (SCTEX) / TIPO ROAD
1. From the end of SCTEX / Tipo Road, stay straight as you exit the expressway onto Maritan Hwy
2. Maritan Hwy merges into Argonaut Hwy after approx 2.5 km
3. Continue on Argonaut Hwy approx 3.6 km until it ends at stop sign
4. Turn left onto Corregidor Highway
Signs for Ocean Adventure along Corregidor Highway will guide you at key intersections
5. Continue on Corregidor Hwy approx 7 km to the 3-way fork
6. Look for the Ocean Adventure directional sign and take the fork to the right
7. Go to the end of the road approx 5 km and proceed through our gate
FROM CENTRAL SUBIC BAY HOTEL DISTRICT & OLONGAPO
1. From the central hotel and shopping district in Subic Bay, head towards the Expressway to Manila on Rizal Highway
2. In approx 2.1 km turn right onto Argonaut Hwy (look for Ocean Adventure directional sign on corner of Argonaut Highway)
3. Continue on Argonaut Hwy approx 7.5 km until it ends at stop sign
4. Turn left onto Corregidor Highway
Signs for Ocean Adventure along Corregidor Highway will guide you at key intersections
5. Continue on Corregidor Hwy approx 7 km to the 3-way fork
6. Look for the Ocean Adventure directional sign and take the fork to the right
7. Go to the end of the road approx 5 km and proceed through our gate
