Man rips out his eyeballs after ‘voices’ tell him to do it

During Sunday Mass in Viareggio, Italy a churchgoer pulled out his own eyes with his hands before collapsing in a pool of blood. The British born man, known as 46 year old Aldo Bianchini, apparently stood up and then quite calmly pulled out his eyes in front of horrified parishners. His mothered tried to help him whilst the priest called for help, however when the man reached hospital in nearby Versilia, surgeons were unable to save his sight.

He has now been admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where he is receiving treatment. According to medics, Aldo had been in treatment for a psychiatric illness however he had not wanted to take the pills prescribed to him.
After the events had unfolded Priest Lorenzo Tanganelli, did manage to carry on with the Sunday Mass, he said of the events: “I’ve never seen so much blood. In the Bible, Jesus says: “If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.”
The doctor who treated Also said the man did not complain or show any signal of physical pain, and answered correctly when asked his name. He said: “In the 26 years I have been practising, I have never seen anything like it. He would have needed absolutely super-human strength to pull his own eyes out with his hands.”
The poor man’s mother who had tried to comfort her son said: “He got up and started banging his head against the floor, he was covered in blood – I did not know what was happening, he didn’t say anything.”

Apple, Google and Microsoft are already investigating voice-controlled gadgets - or gadgets controlled by moving your body in front of a camera.
But IBM thinks the tech giants might be a little shortsighted - and predicts that mind-controlled computers will be on the market within five years.
'Mind-reading has been wishful thinking for science fiction fans for decades, but their wish may soon come true,' said a spokesperson. The company is investigating smartphone and PC technology where, 'You would just need to think about calling someone, and it happens.'

The prediction was part of IBM's annual 'Five in Five' report. The company also predicted that by 2016, passwords would have disappeared.
Instead, the complex, hard-to-remember strings of numbers and letters will be replaced by biometric readers that 'work out' who you are by reading unique things about you.
Neither of these predictions is hugely 'out there'.
Primitive mind-control is already used in games such as Mattel's Mindflex, where you wear a brainwave-reading headband and concentrate to raise and lower a ball - held mid-air by jets of air that respond to your brainwaves.

Mattel is set to unveil a new version - Mindflex 2 - at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
It's not by an means impossible that more sophisticated technologies might allow us to at least move a mouse pointer by 2016 - although it seems more likely that PC makers would use existing technologies such as webcams to allow us to control PCs via our eyes instead.
The password prediction is also not too far-fetched - and might come true sooner than IBM thinks.
Microsoft has said that the new version of Windows - Windows 8 -will offer users a 'graphical' way to lock their computers instead.
Instead of memorising a sequence of letters, users will be asked to, for instance, circle their mother in a photograph, or circle their best friend.
Computer makers such as Alienware already use 'biometric' security - where laptops recognise people via biometric markers such as the shape of their face - which does away with the need for complex passwords.

MANILA, Philippines?Globe Telecom is cracking down on abusive Internet users who hog all the available bandwidth, in the process deteriorating the services for majority of users in the company?s network.
In a statement issued Saturday, the company said it has adopted a ?fair-use? policy that would put a cap on the amount of content such as songs and videos that consumers could download for their personal use.
In a recent internal analysis, Globe said about 5 percent of abusive subscribers use 80 percent of the available broadband Internet bandwidth in the company?s network.
This leaves only 20 percent of the capacity to be shared by 95 percent of the remaining users.
?Globe implemented a policy that promotes a more responsible way of using the Internet that will ensure fair and optimum usage of its broadband services across all subscribers,? the company said.
The usage cap, it said, would affect only users who download data in excess of 1 gigabyte a day, or the equivalent of about 250 MP3 songs.
Telecommunications firms have been criticized for plans to put usage caps on Internet service, which consumers said were uncalled for especially with broadband speeds in the Philippines still far lower than in neighboring countries.
Consumer groups have said that companies should invest to bolster their networks instead of penalizing users.
But Globe said its new policy aimed to preserve the ?quality of resources in order to provide subscribers with seamless, uninterrupted and reliable Internet connections.?
The company said network bandwidth was a finite resource, making it necessary to adopt regulations that promote responsible and fair use of the Internet to prevent abuse and misuse of services from a relatively smaller group of consumers.
?This also ensures consistency and reliability of connection for use of the greater majority of broadband subscribers,? Globe said.
The company claimed the new fair-use policy would also help curb copyright infringement through the Internet.
A recent study by data firm Envisional showed that close to 36 percent of torrent downloads involved pornography and another 48 percent were movies and television shows.
The study further claimed that close to 24 percent of global Internet traffic was piracy-related and nearly one-quarter of the traffic on the Internet involves the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials such as movies, TV shows, music and video games.
?These activities, apart from being unsecured, also utilize a significant amount of broadband network data, which prohibits other subscribers to enjoy the same quality of Internet connection,? the company said.

(boiling water).  It’s actually a lot like boiling water.  When you boil water, you make the pot really hot until it gets to a specific temperature, called the boiling point, then the liquid starts turning into a gas.  For water the boiling point is 212 degrees, that’s why we need to heat it on a stove.  For nitrogen the boiling point is minus 320 degrees, so the liquid nitrogen is boiling at room temperature to become air.  What is this smoke coming off the nitrogen, does that remind you of anything? (fog).  It actually is the same as fog.  The liquid nitrogen makes the nearby air very cold.  The air can’t hold as much water vapor when it’s colder, so some of the water vapor condenses into small water droplets that we see as fog, just like you can see over the ocean in the morning.

GODMODE, sounds like a powerful God that can crush anything in just 1 click. Godmode is a feature hiding inside Windows 7 operating system.

Everyone knows what windows 7 is, but not everyone knows how to tweak it up to its maximum limt. Godmode is a secret setup in windows 7 that by creating a folder with a certain text string at the end, user are able to have a single place to do everything  from changing the look of the mouse pointer to making a new hard-drive partition.

This trick  is known to also work in Windows Vista, but in some cause an error working in a 64-bit version of the operating system.

For you to be able to enter into a Godmode feature of  the OS the only one you need to do is to create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following: 

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Once that is done, the folder's icon will change to resemble a control panel and will contain dozens of control options. I'm not sure it's my idea of playing God, but it is a handy way to get to all kinds of controls.
