Alexies Iglesia won on the first hanes and sm mardigra's t-shirt design making contest^_^

I won the first t-shirt design making contest held and sponsored by hanes philippines last november 2012. I won after i got almost 61 sales in my design. almost all the colleges in olongapo joined teh said contest.
I won a prize of P5000 and 5000 worth of hanes product. And since my desin became the top 1 design, hanes  gave an additional P5000 to our school.

Software: Adobe Illustrator

There are tons of techniques in Adobe Illustrator. I am not actually a pro here but i can give you some ideas in making a vector graphics using adobe illustrator.  If you are good and has a lot knowledge in photoshop you should be able to quickly inherit them and transfer it to adobe illustrator since they are almost the same in principle. If you want to make vector graphics  and trace some  image, first you must look at the image that you are going to trace. Analyze what are the layers that should be at the bottom, what should be the secondary layers and what are layers for major and finishing details.
If you want to see clearly what you are doing try to put the image to traced in the background layer, add some dim on it for about 50 percent and lock it since you are not going to use it for a while.
For me i separate the layers in terms of colors and details.. if it is a base color, it should be at the back then at the top of it are the secondary colors, shades and details like stroke. And if you want to make everything easier to do, study how the stroke, gradient, symbols and clipping mask work......
layer lock is very important to use specially for a complex project that has too many layers. Study also how the move tool works. and practice how the does the shortcut  'a' and 'v' works in different manner.... Good luck :)

I really hate actions in a repeated cycles like a repeated stroke of your hand when you are tracing an image to get its vector art, but since it is for a friend who needs to smile i tried to finish it even at a run time of it i still getting irritated and want to pause and finish it next month. :D

but i did it.... i made my will to finish it yesterday.... ^_^

Software: Blender 3D

Last week i decided to study about compositor and how to make an island features and grassy type of environment. So after that i decided to try  to make a composition where what im going to use is only my stock knowledge  and everything i've learned last week without any reference.

My dream, A simple life
an image of my dream =)
i made it using only blender 3d, a very powerful modelling tool =)

I am dreaming of something simple for my life. Im doing what i must do and trying to make all things simple. Life is too short and every single tic of the clock is worth  a million life. But to make it all  easy, i just smile without regrets. =)

Windows Fruit Basket

Hello guys, i made this just to practice how to make a realistic 3d grass using particle system.  After i made the grass, i added some objects from my past modelled project, fruit basket and then I add a vignette using the node compositor. I really wanted to create it using cycles render engine but my goal for this week is to learn more about node compositor in blender internal render engine so i decided to use its basic rendering tools which is the internal.
Blender 3D : some useful default settings you should know

Blender 3D : some useful default settings you should know

When you first install Blender, it is generally set up pretty well with options enabled that allow new users to familiarise themselves with Blender quickly. Over time however, I have found a few small tweaks to make to the default set up, so that each time I start Blender, or create a new blend, everything is configured how I prefer it.
This post will go through each one of these options, and explain what they do and why I opt to use them. Some people will disagree with some of these, and you might have something you think I should add to this list (I have actually left off a couple I think might be useful only to a small number of people )

Thought refers to a mental and intellectual activity involving a conscious mind.  It is one of the basic fundamental why a man is a man. Human has an abundant knowledge but the problem is sometimes it works like a ghost.

Batle Tank Robot - "Goal-A"   Rigging the battle tank's Tire
made in blender 3D

hello! =) this model i made is a battle tank which I named Goal-A. At first what i really wanted is to find out how to make a synchronise rotation of the battle tank's tire relative to it's  distances travelled. When i discovered how to make it even though it took me almost 2 hours to find out what are the correct constraints i should use to make it ready for animation, i still decided to make it complete by adding more complete details, materials and animating it.

the whole composition of the tire's tank is made up of empty, bezier curve, plane, array modifier and constraints.

water simulation rendered in cycles -Blender 3d 2.63

hello =) !, this water simulation i made was rendered in cycles render engine in blender 3d. It's still creepy maybe because this is my first time to use it and i still can't figure out how can i remove those noise and i also forgot to remove the emitter in the texture of the inflow so the uv sphere is still visible in the render time.. but what am i happy for is that i figured out many things about cycles and water simulation. Thanks to sir jonathan williamson for a great tutorial that taught me a lot and made a good reference. =)

Candle simulation in Blender 3D

Candle simulation in Blender 3D

I really don't know how can I practice what I've learn during the past few days about particles and physics so I decided to make something that I can use every single knowledge I gained  using just my stock knowledge without using tutorials to know some vulnerabilities and gap in my understanding on tools and usage. I tried to think something  like a mixture of cloth, smoke and fluid until finally an object like a candle enters in mind. The fluid particles seems so minimal until it's too late for me to realize  that the effect of it must also be animated....

Tornado Simulation made in Blender 3D

SMOKE TEST AS TORNADO SIMULATION
made in Blender 3D 2.63

-first quarter of my tornado simulation-

I made this Tornado simulation for almost 1 day as a part of studying particles in blender 3d. This is my first time I've used the smoke  physics and particles just to widen my knowledge in some environmental effects followed by different types of force field and collision effects. I decided to make it as a part of advance study for some scenes that we our going to use in our projects.

Coca Cola Quest

Coca Cola Quest

Coca Cola Quest

Each player in each sport has their own form of revelry to celebrate points scored. For some it’s a hand motion, for some it’s a somersault, and for others it’s a well-crafted humorous dance. In honor of the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup and to promote Coca Cola’s sponsorship, Paranoid US Director Edouard Salier, created an animated medley of celebrations entitled “Quest”. With Coke’s long history of successful animated spots and Edouard’s visual storytelling ability, the collaboration was a perfect fit.
Initially set on a field of dust in Africa, far from the shiny professional stadiums, “Quest” follows a young football enthusiast looking for celebration. He sets off on a magical journey, in search of the sport’s most festive experiences. Along the way, he encounters various football teams, each with their own personal style of merriment. He then realizes the celebration is within himself and he can bring it to any environment.
Armed with a script from the agency, SANTO, Edouard was tasked with producing a visual accompaniment that brought the celebration of football to life. With his poetic visual concept in place, Edouard worked with a design team in Paris to generate an animated storyboard. The character and background details were highly important to make the spot magical, yet believable. Edouard relied heavily on the experienced crew of artists from Digital District, who specialize in animation and visual effects. With only photography as reference, it was up to the skilled animators, to make the main character have human facial features, reactions and movements.
The end result is a spot that the most-die hard football fans will enjoy, as it is filled with the symbols of various goal celebrations--from robotic dancing to a mock crew team. However, it is just as entertaining for anyone looking for the usual joyful spirit and awe-inducing visuals synonymous with the Coca-Cola brand. The spot, an eight month long production, begins airing globally and will continue to run through the end of the FIFA World Cup tournament.

This is a 3d moon i made in blender 3d. i created it using an icosphere and subdivided it by 4. i used a stone texture posted above as the main texture of the moon while the background starry night was only downloaded in google image. after that i make the composite of using the following setup above.
