How to Change the SSID (Wifi Name) of PLDT MODEM/Router without the annoying prefix word “PLDTMyDSL”.

If you have a modem like the image below, then it means that the name of your wifi starts with the word “PLDTMyDSL”. 

Don't worry, it's really easy. If you have some knowledge in javascript then you have already a hint on how it works... :)

Step 1:
Log in to the admin panel of your modem by typing http://192.168.1.1/  on the address bar of your browser. If you still haven’t changed the admin account then the default username is “adminpldt” and password is “1234567890”.

Step 2:

Once you logged in, hover the cursor (Mouse Arrow) to the Wireless Icon above then click on Basic Settings.

Step 3:

Move your Cursor over the textbox of SSID and right click on it. Click "Inspect Element"

Step 4: 

Right Click on the word "PLDTMyDSL" then Clic "Edit Attribute".

Step 5:

Then type whatever name you want on the value. After that hit enter

You can see that the Name also changes on the actual textbox. (Do not Click or modify on the actual textbox or else the script will change it again. If you want to edit the name, do it on inspect element)

Step 6: 

Click Apply Changes. Let it reboot. After it reboot,

click the button save that appeared at the bottom left side.
